I took some photos of four leaf clovers yesterday evening. I was hoping to get some better ones today, but no...it's all cloudy and dark again, so I'm gonna go ahead and post a few of my best shots. this is from the patch in my front yard which often produces some 4 leaf clovers

this is half of the clover patch. look it over see how many you find, and I'll post a picture with all the ones I found marked, in scraps, in a few days

I think I found six four-leaf ones... I didn't really try to look, so there might be more. And I'm not sure about a couple of them, they might just be randomly placed leaves that at first glance make a normal 3-leaf clover look like a four-leaf clover.

I wonder if there was ever a time when four-leaf clovers were as common as 3-leaf clovers and the 3-leaf ones were more rare and lucky?

Um...I think clovers always had three, but I have no real basis for this opinion, they could have started out like a fern and gradually lost leaves till they got down to three...and maybe now the process is reversing
